I never see your medicines, your doses or your symptoms
Interdose has no account, no analytics and no adverts, and there's no server of mine for anything to be sent to.
What the app keeps
Your name, your medicines with their limits and what's left in each packet, every dose you log or skip, your illnesses and symptoms and your phone number if you gave one are stored on your iPhone by the app.
iCloud sync
With iCloud sync on, which it is to start with, the same things are saved to your own iCloud account so your other devices have them. Apple stores them for you and I have no access to anyone's iCloud data. Names, dose labels and your phone number are saved in encrypted fields.
To turn sync off open the Family tab, tap Settings and switch off iCloud sync. Apple's privacy policy covers what Apple does with data in iCloud.
Family you invite
Nobody sees your medicines unless you invite them by their Apple Account email. People you invite can see your name, your medicines, your doses, your symptoms and your phone number, and they can't change any of it. Remove someone under People with access in the same Settings and they stop seeing it.
The sharing goes through iCloud, from your account to theirs.
Notifications and alarms
Reminders and alarms are set on your iPhone. When you log a dose or change a medicine, Apple's push service tells family's phones something changed, with nothing about the change in it. Their iPhone reads what changed from iCloud and writes the notification itself, which names the medicine.
Siri and Spotlight
Your medicine names are given to Siri and Spotlight on your iPhone so you can ask for one or search for it.
The doctor's report
The report is a PDF made on your iPhone when you ask for it, and it goes wherever you share it.
Deleting your data
Deleting a medicine, a dose or an illness in the app removes it from your iPhone, your iCloud and anyone you shared with. Deleting the app removes everything on the iPhone. To remove the iCloud copy as well open the Settings app, tap your name, then iCloud, then Storage, then Interdose.
This site
This site runs no analytics. It's served by Cloudflare, which sees your IP address when your browser asks for a page, the same as any web host.
If you claim a free code on the offer page, a cookie in your browser remembers the code you were given so the page can show it again. It holds nothing else. The check that you're a person is Cloudflare Turnstile, which looks at your browser to tell people from scripts. Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy policy covers what it sees.
Emailing me
If you email me I keep the email so I can reply, and nothing else.
Children
Interdose collects nothing from anyone, so there's nothing about a child to collect, use or share.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version goes on this page with a new date at the bottom.
