Interdose reminds and logs. It isn't medical advice

The gap between doses and the daily maximum are numbers you type in, copied from the label or your prescriber. Interdose times your doses from them and never works out an amount.

What it doesn't do

  • It doesn't know your medicine, so it can't tell you whether a limit you typed is right.
  • It doesn't check one medicine against another.
  • It doesn't diagnose anything. The Symptoms tab records what you tell it.

Check with a doctor or pharmacist if you're unsure about a dose, a limit or a symptom. Interdose isn't a medical device.

Don't rely on it alone

A reminder can fail to reach you. Your iPhone can be off, out of battery or in a Focus, and notifications can be switched off for Interdose in Settings. Only a medicine set to Alarm rings through silent and Focus.

Alerts to family need both phones to be online and signed in to iCloud, so a quiet phone doesn't prove a dose was taken.

If something's wrong

If you think you or someone else has taken too much of a medicine, get medical help straight away. In the UK call 999 in an emergency or 111 for urgent advice, and anywhere else call your local emergency number.
